For partners

Work off the same numbers as your producers

Feed companies, packers and our hedging desk connect to Swine Hub as spokes. Producers decide what each partner sees. Partners get live data instead of phone calls and spreadsheets.

Feed companies

Requests, contracts, deliveries, inventory

See feed requests as they come in, open contracts that still need settling, and the delivery schedule against bin levels. The forecast tab charts demand against inventory and expected stock for the weeks ahead, by ration, using real placements and growth curves.

  • Feed requests from producers and the copilot
  • Open contracts to negotiate and settle
  • Delivery schedule and bin inventory
  • 12-week demand and stock forecast with shortfalls flagged

Packers

Fill shackle space weeks ahead

Buying hogs is a daily negotiation. Swine Hub shows finished hogs coming across your wean-to-finish growers so you can line up supply early, through standing bids or a Dutch auction that steps the price until the space is filled.

  • Shackle space filled versus open, by week
  • Bids and Dutch auctions with growers
  • Supply pipeline from placements to market weight
  • Kill sheets returned to the producer automatically

Hedging desk

Turn a break-even into a margin you can lock

We run the hedging desk ourselves. For each producer we calculate the break-even from their own closeouts and feed costs, compare it with today's lean hog, corn and soybean meal futures, and offer the margin they could lock in. If they accept, we place the hedges for them and track the position on the hub.

  • Break-evens built from the producer's own records
  • Margin offers they can accept by text
  • Order tickets and positions on one screen

Futures trading involves risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Hedging services are subject to account approval.
